Ambirua intertwine and rearrange their long, hand-like tails to create shadow puppets, making themselves appear bigger to scare off predators. If cornered, they will wildly slap their tails back and forth before springing away.
To protect themselves from danger, they hide their true identities by transforming into people and Pokémon. To eat, it deftly shucks nuts with its two tails.
