At times in the past it has been referred to as the “Storm Seer” Pokémon. Many cultures will consult Amphaphox to determine when and where storms may occur. It will often assist by acting as a beacon during these storms.
It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future. It gives off so much light that it can be seen even from space.
