Amphaobat flash their three glowing orbs in different patterns to communicate. Wild flocks of Amphaobat are very rare, but their flashing in the dark is said to be dazzling to behold.

Suction from its nostrils enables it to stick to cave walls during sleep. It gives off so much light that it can be seen even from space.
