Arphox use the patterns in their ears to hypnotize prey into coming closer before kicking them sharply. If their prey is resistant to hypnosis, they will instead use their tails to cast intensive psychic-type attacks.
It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future. This Pokémon has a terrifically strong constricting power.
