Ariatom expand their own plasma like a large web to intimidate others and to catch, and subsequently fry, small prey. They produce and spit sticky threads that can conduct strong electrical currents without being damaged.

Its body is composed of plasma. Its feet are tipped with tiny hooked claws that enable it to scuttle on ceilings and vertical walls.
