In lieu of tusks, Axechic has a really strong beak that gets harder the more damaged it gets. It also uses its claws in combat and to mark tree trunks.

This Pokémon is rarely far from its nest, playing with its siblings by knocking their horns together in a test of strength. While Axechic have little to physically protect themselves, their fireballs can leave opponents badly burned.

If attacked, it strikes back by spitting balls of fire it forms in its stomach. They mark their territory by leaving gashes in trees with their tusks.
