Because it can easily overheat from its own fire, Azumamander uses its massive ears to passively radiate heat. If its body gets too cold, it pulls its tail flame close, stretching the tail away again as soon as its temperature rises.

The flame that burns at the tip of its tail is an indication of its emotions. It lives in water virtually all day long.
