Though Azuphish possesses a decent grip strength with its claws, it rarely uses them. Instead, its skittish nature causes it to flail its claws about wildly when threatened, a much less effective method of self-defense.

Once it grips prey with its large pincers, it will never let go, no matter what. Its tail, which is packed with nutrition, is very bouncy like a rubber ball.
