Bulbackle collects a large amount of withered plants inside its shell, and then hangs itself in a cool and ventilated place using vines. Although the fermented liquid has a fragrant scent, its most suitable use is as a fertilizer.

A Bulbackle hides under rocks, keeping its body concealed inside its shell while eating stored berries. Bulbackle can be seen napping in bright sunlight.
