Whenever Cardude splits apart, the geode inside its body shimmers as light strikes the crystal formation. It remains in dark caves to avoid being kidnapped by Trainers and Pokémon looking for shiny objects.
It climbs mountain paths using only the power of its arms. Born from the high temperatures and pressures deep underground, it defends itself by firing beams from the jewel part of its body.
