Carlurk are commonly found deep underground, polishing the crystals on their bodies and protecting the caverns they reside in. In folklore, Carlurk were created by Diancie to protect colonies of Carbink.
It is said that Carlurk were ordered to protect people and Pokémon by the ancient people who made them. Born from the high temperatures and pressures deep underground, it defends itself by firing beams from the jewel part of its body.
