One of their heads will always be on the lookout for threats as the other head eats. Though they can defend themselves with sticky threads loosed by their mouths, they may sometimes get tangled in their own threads.
Even while eating or sleeping, one of the heads remains always vigilant for any sign of danger. Its voracious appetite compels it to devour leaves bigger than itself without hesitation.
