Despite being rather large in stature, Caterdon is easily frightened by others. To fend off danger, it forms a large clump of silk from its mouth to slam onto the ground hard enough to cause earthquake-like tremors all around it.
Caterdon has appeared in mythology as the creator of the land. Its voracious appetite compels it to devour leaves bigger than itself without hesitation.
