Chandelphox are drawn to resting sites, typically seen at night dancing about while commanding many will-o'-wisps around with their staves. They display no inherent malice, though their flames grow stronger when near others.

It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future. Being consumed in Chandelphox's flame burns up the spirit, leaving the body behind.
