Rarely seen by humans, this Pokémon is said to drag the souls of those lost in the frigid oceans into the afterlife. Despite its menacing appearance, it's known to be willing to help people travelling the cold seas.
To protect its herd, the leader battles anything that invades its territory, even at the cost of its life. Being consumed in Chandelrein's flame burns up the spirit, leaving the body behind.
