Chingrantis are seen so frequently at shrines that shrine maidens have begun to teach Chingrantis to do basic tasks such as sweeping and weeding. Chingrantis will often become a permanent member of the shrine's staff even if it has no Trainer.
It requires a lot of effort to maintain Chingrantis's vivid coloring, but some collectors enjoy this work and treat it as their hobby. It emits cries by agitating an orb at the back of its throat.
