Clampbat are completely blind, using echolocation to locate prey along the shore. When attacked, they will wrap themselves within their wings, which are as hard as steel.

While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision. A Clampbat slams its shell closed on prey to prevent escape.
