Clefogre's deep-sea layer is decorated by sparkling stones dusted with the stardust coating its large fins. It only comes up from the depths during the full moon, where it breaches the water and glides about beneath the moonbeams.

Clefogre has appeared in mythology as the creator of the sea. A Clefogre uses its wings to skip lightly as if it were flying.
