Stardust trails behind Clefnix's head, which is believed to be made of moonrock. They will soar through the night sky, absorbing moonlight which forms into small comets that they can fire off.

There is a magnet in its brain that prevents an Clefnix from losing direction while tunneling. A Clefnix uses its wings to skip lightly as if it were flying.
