Clefoh absorbs moonlight with its wings by spreading them wide open towards the night sky, gradually turning its dull brown feathers a beautiful iridescent color. From afar, the shine of this Pokémon's wings can be mistaken for a rainbow.

Its feathers--which glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light--are thought to bring joy. On every night of a full moon, they come out to play.
