The cotton-like growths on Cottonleon are actually closer in consistency to steel wool. It sharpens the blades on its wings in the crashing tides where it lives, then uses the cotton to smooth out any impurities.

Cottonleon gracefully floats along the ice, making sure its cottony bits steer clear of water. While it prefers solitude, it sometimes sticks to others of their kind.

The three horns that extend from its beak attest to its power. They go wherever the wind takes them.
