Cyndaran enjoy poking at their peers with their flaming snout but feel dejected when this playfulness is not reciprocated. Developing their sense of confidence is of utmost importance if a Trainer wants them to become a reliable partner.

Cyndaran creates burrows in which it builds beds of ash using grass that it calcinates himself. It likes berries a lot and has the habit of roasting them before eating them.

Its highly toxic barbs are thought to have developed as protection for this small-bodied Pokémon. It flares flames from its back to protect itself.
