Deipie have poor eyesight, so they rely on their sensitive noses to detect leaves in the nearby vicinity. They can also smell predators from a long distance, giving Deipie time to hide before the predator strikes.

Its voracious appetite compels it to devour leaves bigger than itself without hesitation. They cannot see, so they tackle and bite to learn about their surroundings.
