Deiper's tail is especially sensitive, able to use water and air currents to build up a picture of its surroundings. It spits a mildly toxic compound at anything that approaches it at anything faster than a slow walking pace.

Deiper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. They cannot see, so they tackle and bite to learn about their surroundings.
