The flames Deldra carries are capable of burning underwater, lighting the way as they traverse underwater caverns. They can use these flames to defend themselves as well, creating fiery whirlpools to drive away foes.

It sleeps quietly, deep on the seafloor. It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future.
