Each group of Delvile develops their own secret code languages. They utilize various methods to communicate: fractals of ice, displays of fire, gashes in boulders, and so on. This makes code-breaking between groups nearly impossible.

They live in cold regions, forming groups of four or five that hunt prey with impressive coordination. It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future.
