Deor is believed by some to be some type of virus that infected a meteorite before it fell to the planet. It can retreat its limbs into the hard shell of its core, reemerging in an altered form adapted to better combat its foe.
Originally making its home in the ozone layer, it hurtles to the ground when the shell enclosing its body grows too heavy. A Pokémon that mutated from an extraterrestrial virus exposed to a laser beam.
