Compared to their evolved forms, Dragalper's poisonous film only cause a tingling sensation. Once living on land, they were forced into the water by predators, in some instances being forced to swim to other regions.

Dragalper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. Their poison is strong enough to eat through the hull of a tanker, and they spit it indiscriminately at anything that enters their territory.
