The large wings on either side of the heads of Dragotoise make them sensitive to the moods and energies of other Pokémon. They use this sensitivity in battle to tell them when to attack and when to withdraw to the safety of their shell.

The waterspouts that protrude from its shell are highly accurate. A Dragotoise stores an enormous amount of energy inside its body.
