Drowran loose a soporific gas from their long snouts, be it for defense or because of a sneeze. The venom of their small barbs can dull the senses, so they have been used in the production of some medications.

Its highly toxic barbs are thought to have developed as protection for this small-bodied Pokémon. If your nose becomes itchy while you are sleeping, it's a sure sign that a Drowran is standing above your pillow and trying to eat your dream through your nostrils.
