Though unable to fade, this resourceful hunter uses its glowing eyes and a Hex's help to lure prey to its strange presence. If it's too bright, Dusctail will instead close its eyes and cling to rock walls to hide its body, swinging the hex as bait.
To withstand the crushing water pressure deep under the sea, its spine is very thick and sturdy. It is thought that its body is hollow with only a spectral ball of fire burning inside.
