Duscish travels across vast plains and forests during the night to find wilted flora. Once it finds a dead plant, Duscish merely stares at it for a while before moving on to the next plant. The reason for this behavior is not yet understood.

This Pokémon grows by absorbing moonlight. It is thought that its body is hollow with only a spectral ball of fire burning inside.
