Dark lagoons are said to be home to Duskper, as they are covered in a black film that darkens the water around them. This water was traditionally used for dyeing things black.

Duskper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. The antenna on its head captures radio waves from the world of spirits that command it to take people there.
