The faster Electanat rotate their arms, the more static that builds up along their bodies and the more their fur stands on end. The combination of the gathered electricity and the toxins within their fur makes an Electanat's punch paralyzing.

Its coat of thin, stiff hair that covers its entire body is said to have evolved for protection. When a storm approaches, it competes with others to scale heights that are likely to be stricken by lightning.
