Galvanper finds the webs of other species and covers them in a gel it secretes. This gel prevents the builder of the nest from being able to detect vibrations caused by the prey that get stuck in it, allowing Galvanper to feast.

Galvanper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. They employ an electrically charged web to trap their prey.
