Girashrew often play fights with its own tail to entertain and exercise itself. When it curls up into a ball for protection, sometimes the tail will uncurl of its own will and attempt to bite whatever caused Girashrew to hide.

When it curls up in a ball, it can make any attack bounce off harmlessly. A Girashrew is an herbivore--it eats grass and tree shoots.
