Contrary to the beliefs of many Trainers, Gladon's bodies are not made up of hard rock. Instead, their armor is plated with a mixture of the toughest ice and stone. To protect themselves, Gladon freeze their foes before slamming into them.

Any frontal attack is repulsed. A Gladon has the power to instantaneously freeze moisture in the atmosphere.
