While Goleal are capable of rolling on land, they typically prefer to remain in the water. On hot summer days, Goleal can be seen idly spinning a few feet from coastlines, creating a beautiful scene of orange and white that attracts tourists.

It is completely covered with plushy fur. In the springtime, schools of Goleal can be seen swimming up falls and rivers.
