Large groups of Golbat rest upside-down under bridges that extend above water during summer days. When the sun sets, they fly off into the sky. This event is a popular tourist attraction for Cerulean City.
While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision. In the springtime, schools of Golbat can be seen swimming up falls and rivers.
