Golutic rests at the bottom of bodies of water near old ruins. It has an intrinsic sense of when strangers walk into the ruins, leaping out of the water in order to protect the sanctity of its home.
It is said to live at the bottom of large lakes. It is said that Golutic were ordered to protect people and Pokémon by the ancient people who made them.
