Gourpod pulls its body around using arms covered in sticky hairs. It also uses these arms as defense against Pokémon that would eat it by sticking the arms into the predator's mouth and allowing hairs to flake off, causing intense irritation.

Its shell is as hard as an iron slab. Singing in eerie voices, they wander town streets on the night of the new moon.
