When bored, Hariper creates enormous splashes along the coast, sending water up to 30 metres into the air. These waves mimic rare natural surges, carrying small water Pokémon inland, allowing them to colonise habitats they could not otherwise reach.
Hariper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. It has the habit of challenging others without hesitation to tests of strength.
