Haxper lives in dense kelp forests and uses its razor-sharp gills to maintain its territory. Researchers refer to this territory as Haxper's garden, as it keeps it very tidy, and even travels across the ocean to bring back exotic plants.

Haxper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. Their sturdy tusks will stay sharp even if used to cut steel beams.
