Ho-moth scatters rainbow-colored scales from its wings while in flight. Though beautiful, these scales are dangerous, as they can ignite in sufficiently high temperatures after being shed and contacting the flesh of another creature.

Ho-moth are nocturnal--they only are active at night. Its feathers--which glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light--are thought to bring joy.
