Sighting a shadowy bird passing by at night is the first warning sign of a Honchchamp being nearby. While the use of these birds has yet to be identified, folk stories describe Honchchamp using them to fight their Trainers' nightmares.
It is impossible to defend against punches and chops doled out by its four arms. Becoming active at night, it is known to swarm with numerous Murkrow in tow.
