When Hounoh howls, bursts of flame erupt from its wings. Any plantlife caught in these flames will burn but grow back from the same spot a few days later, more vibrant than before.
Its feathers--which glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light--are thought to bring joy. Hounoh communicate with each other using a variety of cries to corner their prey.
