Hunpert lives in the ocean floor, where its tough body allows it to withstand the immense pressure. It sleeps underground with its fish-shaped tail showing: would-be predators that would attack are ambushed.
If it senses the approach of a storm and a tidal wave, it protects its seaside nest by piling up boulders. To withstand the crushing water pressure deep under the sea, its spine is very thick and sturdy.
