Hyphox use their staff to incinerate anything that crosses their path that they don't like. It's theorized that they foresee the future to plot how to cause the most damage.
It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future. The heads on their arms do not have brains.
