While breathing in the spores of Jumpsey gives great joy, they also cause the person breathing them in to become gravely unwell. Jumpsey does try to nurse the sick person when this happens, but it being in the proximity only worsens the situation.

If it senses sadness with its fluffy fur, a Jumpsey will rush over to the sad person, however far away, to share an egg of happiness that brings a smile to any face. Jumpsey ride warm southern winds to cross the sea and fly to foreign lands.
