Kaburantis lives underwater. It aims to capture its prey via ambush; if that fails, it will relentlessly chase its target down, slashing furiously with its bladed arms. However, it will flee at the sight of a foe whose blades it cannot cut through.

It requires a lot of effort to maintain Kaburantis's vivid coloring, but some collectors enjoy this work and treat it as their hobby. Kaburantis once swam underwater to hunt for prey.
